The Brief

Retail100 have worked with Indigo on a number of briefs:

  1. Deliver strategy and brand acquisition for the Indigo Beauty, Wellness and Home Fragrance categories.  To include detailed analysis on current Indigo sales and profitability by brands & price point.  A new category strategy with defined brand roles and number of skus & brands by channel.  Concluded with a brand acquisition plan with process timeline and supplier facing ‘romance’ packs.
  2. Review all Indigo Home Living assortments and support with data driven analysis and future recommendations.  Present back an assortment review of each category and future directions including sales performance, stock holding, key takeaways, brand performance, sku optimisation and brand review. 
  3. Use R100s knowledge and experience to help cover team vacancies and skill gaps on new categories.  Work with the trading teams to spark thought and debate around assortment decisions.  Embed new ways of working.

The Brief

  1. Hyve were looking to introduce a new connection tool to their trade shows to allow visitors to arrange and manage meetings in a much more user friendly and seamless way.  Retail100 worked with the team looking at the taxonomy behind this to review their category data and what a retail buyer would expect to see in terms of product type associations.  
  2. To create and deliver retail seminars at Hyve’s UK trade show brands with varying topics dependent on the focus of the show. Scope to date has included a guide to sourcing overseas, Leadership and A buyer’s life.

The Brief

American home fragrance brand Voluspa were looking to relaunch their brand in the UK in time for their 25 year anniversary celebrations in 2024.  The team came to R100 to gain understanding and insight into how this category operated in the UK and to help facilitate introductions with key buyers in the mid to premium sector of the market.  R100 have supported them with market relevance in range selection and planning alongside building their UK network.

The Yvonne Ellen team wanted to review their business model and work through the scenarios related to licensing their brand or taking production and sales in house.
